Established in 1886, The Famous of Cheltenham is still independent and owned and run by the same family.

With over a century of personal service to customers from far and wide we still retain the sense of service recalled by the first family owner, Mr. A.N. Cole:

"Always look after the man who wants to buy a collar stud; he may want a shirt some day"

Today, still trading from the same site on Cheltenham's thriving High Street, The Famous supplies menswear, a wedding and evening hire service and schoolwear.

We also have an Exeter branch; Pinder and Tuckwell, and in 2004 opened Intersport Cheltenham.

As a company we are able fulfil  almost all menswear, schoolwear or sportswear and equipment needs.
